My Own List of Estrogen Mimickers
List of estrogen mimickers and estrogen modualtors and estrogen like compounds to avoid in breast cancer and other hormonal-related or environmental cancers.
.
The highest rate of estrogen-positive receptor breast cancer among women athletes or sports professionals is among women's golf professionals. After years of numerous professional players getting breast cancer, it was finally discovered that the culprit may be the herbicides used on golf courses. Since this finding many if not all of the nations golf courses have stopped using herbicides. Several years ago I saw a sign on a golf course in Dallas that read, "We no longer use herbicides". Of course it's also good for the environment. What about all the men with prostate cancer. Could there be a connection? Herbicides and pesticides are known estrogen mimickers or modulators. Any hormone-related cancer, not to exclude other cancers, may be related the use of these herbicides and pesticides.
I have compiled my own list of estrogen mimickers and estrogen modulators and estrogren-like compounds. These are all no-nos for women and men too, with breast cancer or want to prevent breast cancer. Many of these compounds are highly soluble in fat so accumulates in fish, bird, mammals and humans. many also come in meat products. Toxicologists find plastics and pesticides in tumors. Natural melatonin actually lowers estrogen production so going to bed early, by 10 P.M. of possible will ensure a good supply of melatonin throughout the night. Melatonin production shuts down when exposed to light. Turn out all the lights and night lights in the bedroom. taking melatonin is not the same and has risks.
